75th Anniversary Celebrations

A 75th Anniversary is a milestone for any club and we wanted to celebrate this achievement  with two spectacular events.

A July Summer Tea Party and an evening event, by a Chelsea prize winning demonstrator, is coming in October.

The West Chiltington Floral Club was formed in the back room of the Red Lion pub in Pulborough in 1951, seventy-five years ago, by three enthusiastic ladies who loved flowers, Edna La Trobe, Joan Wadey and Josie Whittaker.

The club eventually outgrew the pub and moved to the West Chiltington Village Hall, which had just been built in 1959, and which has remained its meeting place for the past 67 years!
